10G 300 Pin Transponders
GTRAN’s GT10 300 pin MSA compatible modules are an integrated high-speed data transponder module optimized for OC-192/STM-64, 10GbE and 10G Fiber Channel applications with and without FEC. An externally modulated 1310nm or1550nm laser module and a PIN or APD-detector-based optical receiver module convert data streams between the electrical and optical domains. A high-performance laser driver and receiver amplifier are incorporated to provide optimum signal levels throughout the assembly. A 16:1/1:16 SERDES translates the 10Gbps data stream to multiple signals at 1/16th the data rate. Low-noise clock/data recovery and clock multiplication electronics based on phase-locked loops yield full SONET compliance for jitter generation, jitter transfer, and jitter tolerance. MSA compatible status and alarm signals are available to allow monitoring of key operating parameters.
All modules are manufactured in a compact 2.2"x 3.0"x 0.53" assembly with an integrated heatsink. The transponder module runs on a quad +5V, +3.3V, +1.8V, and -5.2V power supply. All electrical signals are interfaced via a single low profile connector, while the optical signals are provided via fiber pigtails with customer specified connectors.
